Pamatong, followers sign ‘declaration of war’ on China with own blood...

Lawyer and failed presidential bet Elly Pamatong over the weekend declared war on China with a blood compact, with the goal of saving the Philippines from so-called Chinese colonization. Pamatong on Saturday led a "declaration of war" on China by leading the blood compact with "generals" of his United States Freedom Fighters of the East, GMA Northern Mindanao reported Monday. The lawyer and his USAFFE followers burned Chinese flags and chanted slogans calling for the downfall of China and the reclamation of Philippine-claimed islands in the Spratlys. A photo shared by Pamatong on his Facebook account showed the supposed declaration of war on "Communist Red China and all other foreign invaders" dated March 22 in Cagayan de Oro City.

Signing it with their blood were Pamatong and Generals Julito Macua, Gilbert Gumboc, Aquim Galaroza and Cris Jacosalem, Rev. Vicente Aquino and Salvador Reyes.
"Lahat sila (Chinese), mga kumprador ng ating mga food supply. Everything, ang mga Pilipino ngayon kusinero, kusinera, gardenero, gardenera, security guard," Pamatong said.
He claimed USAFFE would mobilize all its forces to recover some 150 islands occupied by China, but added they have to "prepare first."

Pamatong claimed his movement has 200,000 members, but added they have no equipment yet. He said he is confident the Philippine government will support him.
For years, the Philippines has had a maritime dispute with China over some areas of the South China Sea - part of which the Philippines refers to as the West Philippine Sea.
"The government must support us. There is no reason why the government should (not) support us because we are doing the responsibility of the government under the fundamental charter," Pamatong said.
Pamatong has had a colorful history with the Philippine government since he first got in trouble for placing spikes on Metro Manila roads in the early 2000s.
He also admitted responsibility for a foiled attempt to smuggle explosives into the Ninoy Aquino International Airport last year. — Joel Locsin/JDS, GMA News
